The annual concert shines a spotlight on young talented musicians in Singapore â giving them the rare chance to perform with the SSO. Successful candidates will perform as soloist in a concerto with the SSO at the Victoria Concert Hall in in September 2020.

That is why about 75 people, most of them strangers, showed up at the corner of Main and Gibbs streets â right in front of the University of Rochesterâs Eastman School of Music â to paint four enormous keyboards on the morning of 23 June 2019. Before the paint was dry, the community and social media were celebrating the work.
