A piano, a cello, and 739,539 Christmas lights. Perhaps a perfect setting for a mashup of two of the most well known and beloved Christmas carols, “Let it Snow” and “Winter Wonderland.”

For this tune we triple-channeled the stylistic vibe of legends Michael Bublé, Sara Bareilles, and the Doobie Brothers! We stitched them together so tightly that we hope it feels like being wrapped in a patchwork blanket of both carols, these artists, and The Piano Guys throughout every second of the song.

Add the visual splendor of an inordinate amount of synchronized lights filmed in below-freezing temperatures and it’s instant Christmas spirit!

Our kids tell us this music video is lit. Um...ya. We suppose it is.

MERRY CHRISTMAS Everyone! Here's our version of "Angels We Have Heard on High," with a few other Christmas favorites mixed in. Can you name them all?

We wrote and performed this in the same style of our music video "What Makes You Beautiful". ALL the sounds you hear were created by different parts of the piano (except the vocals of course).

We wanted this to be a fun music video full of "Christmas Spirit." While the video primarily presents the "fun" side of Christmas (complete with cameo appearances by Christmas icons which "helped" us film), we wanted the music to portray what, to us, is the true meaning of the Holiday season. As we wrote it we imagined the "shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night." And how the Angel appeared to them, announcing the humble birth of the Savior of the World. How incredible it would have been when, "suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men!" (Holy Bible, Luke Chapter 2)

As we polished off our arrangement of Lewis Capaldi’s stirring song, “Someone You Loved,” we felt a strong need to find a way to express the emotion in our tune beyond the bow and the keyboard. We needed a poetic love story spoken without words, but with melodic motion.

Before our last note hardly had time to rest we contacted Charity and Andres, dance world superstars who caught everyone’s attention when they captured the first perfect score on “World of Dance.”

We had complete faith in these two artists, to tell the story that needed to be told. It turns out, Andres is likely going to be leaving for 2 years to serve a full time mission for his church. Charity is supporting him in this, but the two are experiencing intense bittersweet feelings regarding their impending partnership’s hiatus.

This is the story they told in dance to our music—a story of sadness, of support, of joy, of unity, of strength, of longing, and of unconditional love. The mastery in their choreography is unmatched and has the power to stir up tender feelings for someone you loved.
