It was a proud night for us at the Steinway Black Diamond Asia launch ceremony. Together with Wei Wei, President, Steinway Asia Pacific and Dirk Paulsen, Director, C Melchers GmbH & Co, we showcased the ultra-exclusive, limited edition Steinway Black Diamond to a close circle of Steinway owners and media guests.

Created in collaboration with iconic furniture designer Dakota Jackson and virtuoso Steinway Artist Lang Lang, only 8 Model D and 88 Model B Steinway Black Diamond pianos have been crafted.
Over the course of the evening, guests were able to appreciate the craftsmanship and detailing of the piano up close. In addition, Steinway Artists Anderson & Roe performed a selection of popular favourites while giving our guests the opportunity to witness Steinway’s revolutionary high-resolution recording and playback SPIRIO | R technology.
