Brian Tyler conducting his theme from Thor: The Dark World at Tauron Arena for 15,000 people.

Comments from YouTube users:

- I think this is the best Thor soundtrack of all Thor series.

- god this sounds even better than the movie version! SO GOOD!

- This was too epic for not using it for Ragnarok...

- So this is a complete stadium loaded with people who want to listen to orchestral music? :D That’s awesome! Gives hope for the future, I love it!

There has been no composer with a more tumultuous life than Robert Schumann (1810-1856). The epithet Romantic wholly applies to the German, whose love life, trials and tribulations were often stranger than fiction.

Even the fear of the coronavirus did not deter a sizeable audience (including many Koreans) from enjoying Paik's marvellous two-hour show, which was substantially expanded from its original programme.

It might appear odd to encounter a recording of Johannes Brahms' Lieder (German art songs) arranged for four hands on the piano.

But why not? In actual fact, much of the German composer's orchestral music (all four symphonies, overtures and serenades), chamber music (quartets and quintets) and even his German Requiem exist in versions for piano four hands.

Chinese pianist Yuja Wang arrived at Vancouver Airport, Canada, for a recital only to be detained by police.

She was subject to 'intense questioning' for over an hour upon arrival in Canada over the weekend, causing her to almost miss her recital that evening at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.

The experience left her 'extremely shaken', she explained in a Facebook post after her performance.

She had no other option but to perform in sunglasses in order to cover her 'visibly red and swollen' eyes.
