Regarded as one of the foremost pianists of the younger generation, 21-year-old piano whiz Tony Yang makes his Southeast Asian debut at the Esplanade Recital Studio! 

Performing Stravinsky's-Agosti's Firebird Suite and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, this specially curated programme will also feature pieces by Chopin and Chinese composer-conductor Tan Dun. 

A gifted pianist who is able to balance technique and musicality in his playing, the talented Chinese-Canadian pianist has captivated the world by storm with his virtuosic playing when he became the youngest-ever laureate at the prestigious 2015 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. He has received numerous accolades including top prize at the Thomas and Evon Cooper International Piano Competition and the Jury Discretionary Award at the 15th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
