I'm classically trained on the piano. But I've also taught myself to play the church organ (Conn organ). Love pieces from the Romantic period and musicals. I can play by ear provided I've listened to the piece enough times.
And, oh, I guest-sing occasionally at the Shangri-la Bangkok, and at open mics in Singapore, such as Musical Theatre Nights at LASALLE College of the Arts, Blu Jaz Cafe and the former Singapore Jazz Club, organised by Sing’theatre Academy.
In October 2014, I participated in the opening concert of the International A Capella Festival held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Took part with my barbershop group, called The Noteables.
I’m a volunteer pianist at Changi General Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, playing for patients and their family members.
I am also currently doing piano gigs for events and organisations, and have performed at events organised by Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Brahm Centre (a charitable organisation), Casio, The Pianist Studio and Gain City megastore.
