This antique / vintage Schimmel baby grand piano was crafted in Germany in 1968 (55 years
old) and brought over by an ambassador to Singapore. Schimmel is a leading German piano maker and European brand founded in 1885.
It has a lovely, warm sound, and real ivory keys which are no longer available for sale in new
pianos. Old pianos had keys made of ivory due
to its value, looks, and ability to absorb perspiration / sweat and reduce chances of the pianists' fingers slipping. They colour with age, and vary from creamy white to yellow-tan or yellow brown. So if you have sweaty fingers and struggle to play on newer pianos with plastic keys, this is a gem.
The piano has been covered with a cloth and its
heater is turned on every day. As it is an old piano, it has settled into its sound and does not require tuning every year like a younger piano.

The strings are not rusty. The pedals have been recently touched up and polished.

It also comes with a piano bench.
