Led by renowned Hollywood orchestrator and conductor Tim Davies, this two half-day workshop aims to provide insights into orchestration and arranging, is suitable for composition students and anyone who has some arranging experience in any genre for a symphony orchestra. This will be Davies’ first such workshop held in Singapore.

Up to six candidates will be selected to work alongside Tim Davies and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra to further hone their art of orchestration. At the workshop, they will work on a piece by Ravel and learn about orchestrating using cues from Tim Davies’ Trollhunters score.

Each day will end with an open dialogue session dedicated to a specific topic.
