The piano art of Elena Nesterenko absorbed the best traditions of Russian and German performing schools. Elena entered the Moscow State Conservatory in the studio of Eugene Mogilevsky, and then transferred to the studio of Professor Elena Richter - both great musicians who studied with the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus. Graduating the Groningen Academy in 1997, Elena Nesterenko received the Honorary Diploma with a stipend from the Andrea Elkebrandt Fund to study with Gerhard Oppitz. Elena is the founder and artistic director of the Kostroma Piano Festival with orchestra.
