Beethoven's ''Ghost''

-- Picture:Sistic
Join this trio of Singaporean musicians as they return to the Esplanade Recital Studio for an evening of dramatic piano trio music. Commemorating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, Beethovens Piano Trio Op. 70 No. 1 "Ghost" had been attributed to Hamlet and Macbeth. Arvo Pärt's exquisite Mozart-Adagio was a tribute to his violinist friend Oleg Kagan, who had a special fondness for Mozart's music. Finally, Brahms' Piano Trio No. 1 promises a youthful exuberance that expunges all sorrow.
