Gold and Platinum Tier Membership

  1. The Programme offers three tiers of membership – Member, Gold and Platinum, wherein Member is the entry tier.
  2. There is no minimum spend requirement to qualify for the Member tier.
  3. The Gold tier shall be awarded to Cardholders with a cumulative nett spend of at least S$4,000 on qualifying purchases at Participating Merchants and ThePiano.SG Online Store within a particular Programme Year.
  4. The Platinum tier shall be awarded to Cardholders with a cumulative nett spend of at least S$8,000 on qualifying purchases at Participating Merchants and ThePiano.SG Online Store within a particular Programme Year.
  5. Nett spend refers to final payment value rounded down to the nearest dollar. In meeting the minimum nett spend, discounted amounts and amounts paid using vouchers shall be excluded, i.e. such amounts are to be excluded when calculating the total qualifying spend in a single receipt.
  6. As soon as the Cardholder completes a particular transaction that brings the cumulative nett spend to or above the level required for the Gold or Platinum tier membership, the Cardholder will be duly upgraded. The Cardholder shall be able to enjoy the accompanying benefits of the new tier instantly, for as long as the new tier remains valid.
  7. At the end of each Programme Year, all Gold and Platinum Cardholders shall be assessed for membership renewal in their respective tiers – individuals who have not successfully met the spend criteria in that Programme Year shall be duly downgraded to the next applicable tier based on the prevailing cumulative spend, with effect from the start of the following Programme Year.
    1. For example, a Platinum Cardholder with only S$4,000 cumulative nett spend in a particular Programme Year shall be downgraded to the Gold tier with effect from the first day of the next Programme Year. The S$4,000 cumulative spend would qualify the Cardholder to be in the Gold tier.
    2. In another instance, a Platinum Cardholder with only S$1,000 cumulative spend in a particular Programme Year shall be downgraded to the Basic tier with effect from the first day of the next Programmer Year. The S$1,000 cumulative spend would qualify the Cardholder to be in the Member tier.
  8. Membership in the Gold and Platinum tier(s) respectively shall be valid until the end of the following Programme Year.
  9. The Cardholder’s cumulative nett spend shall continue to be tracked for Platinum tier qualification even if he/she has achieved the Gold tier midway during a particular Programme Year. For example, if the Cardholder achieves a cumulative nett spend of S$4,000 and hence qualifies for the Gold tier, the Cardholder is still on track to qualify for Platinum tier membership if he/she adds another S$4,000 or more to his/her cumulative spend in the same Programme Year.
  10. Once the Cardholder has achieved the Platinum tier, the tracking of cumulative nett spend will be reset.
  11. Upon expiration of membership tenure in a particular tier, and if the Cardholder has not successfully met the spend criteria to be retained in that tier, he/she shall be downgraded to the next relevant tier on merit. For example, if the Platinum tier Cardholder only manages to achieve a cumulative spend of S$4,000 in a particular Programme Year, which is sufficient for Gold tier qualification but not for Platinum tier re-qualification, the Cardholder shall be downgraded to the Gold tier. Similarly, if the Platinum tier Cardholder only manages to achieve a cumulative nett spend of S$500 in a particular Programme Year, which is insufficient for Gold tier qualification, he/she shall be downgraded to the Member tier.
  12. Gold tier Cardholders are entitled to the following benefits:
    1. Earn 2x Pianover Rewards points on qualifying purchases at Participating Merchants
  13. Gold tier Cardholders shall be entitled to a Welcome Reward of 10,000 Pianover Rewards points upon attaining the Gold tier membership. Gold tier Cardholders must make at least one (1) qualifying transaction on the card after the Gold tier becomes effective in order to trigger this Welcome Reward.
  14. Platinum tier Cardholders are entitled to the following benefits:
    1. Earn 3x Pianover Rewards points on qualifying purchases at Participating Merchants
    2. Invitations to exclusive events
  15. Platinum tier Cardholders shall be entitled to a Welcome Reward of 25,000 Pianover Reward points upon attaining the Platinum tier membership. Platinum tier Cardholders must make at least one (1) qualifying transaction on the card after the Platinum tier becomes effective in order to trigger this Welcome Reward.
  16. Benefits associated with a particular tier shall last as long as the membership tenure of such tier is active.
  17. SGMusic reserves the right to change qualifying criteria for membership tier upgrades and renewals at any time at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
  18. SGMusic reserves the right to amend or withdraw any benefits related to a particular tier membership at any time at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
