The 4th Steinway Youth Piano Competition Grand Finals on 5th May 2018, organized by Steinway Gallery Singapore, is a biennial event held to identify, encourage and promote local young pianists. The winner from the competition will compete in the Steinway Regional Finals Asia Pacific and receive the chance to represent the region in the prestigious bi-annual International Steinway Festival in Hamburg, Germany.
 
The Singapore Steinway Youth Piano Competition is a potential springboard in the formative stages of youth’s music careers. It is an event which binds the piano community close together as youths gather to perform, gain musical experiences with their peers and forge lasting friendship. It is also a celebratory occasion to highlight and commend the unwavering support of the parents and teachers of the young pianists who are keystones in the passing of the deep-rooted tradition of classical piano to future generations.
