Join the Crescent Girls’ School Symphonic Band (CGSSB) in its 8th Limelight Concert as they present a repertoire of joyous tunes that is set to resonate with audiences.

Guided by its band motto “et bientôt le meilleur” (the famous phrase “the best is yet to be” in French), its members constantly strive for excellence and have garnered many awards and accolades at many platforms over the years. They are very proud to note that as they celebrate their excellence sustained over the last 51 years, they are also very honoured to have produced a number of renowned alumni, one of whom is Tan Soh Hwa who has returned with her husband Chua Tiong Hong to continue the good work established by Lee Seck Chiang when he officially retired in the 1990s.

At Limelight 2018, the band will perform under the batons of all three conductors. The band has also brought back many of its alumni who will be performing alongside the band’s current members.

Together, Crescent Girls’ School Symphonic Band and the Crescent Girls’ School Alumni Band will bring audiences through an evening of delightful, ebullient music.
